1. Our 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are not happy with AmoQuiz, for any reason, you can ask for a full refund of any payment within 14 days of the day you made it. You don’t need to give a reason.
The guarantee covers every payment:
- the first payment for a monthly or yearly subscription;
- every renewal of a subscription, monthly or yearly;
- a 7-day pass.
You get back the whole amount you paid, taxes included.
2. How to ask for a refund
Either of these works:
- Write to us at support@amoquiz.com from the email address on your AmoQuiz account, or tell us the address you used at checkout. The order number from your receipt helps us find the payment faster.
- Ask Paddle, our reseller, at paddle.net, using the email address your receipt was sent to.
We usually reply within two working days, and we confirm by email when the refund is on its way.
3. Where the money goes, and when
Our plans are sold by our reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all our orders, so Paddle sends the refund. It goes back to the card or account you paid with. Most banks show it within 5 to 10 working days; how long it takes after that is up to your bank or payment provider.
4. What happens to your account
When a payment is refunded, the plan or pass it paid for ends straight away and your account moves to the Free plan. Refunding a subscription payment also cancels the subscription, so nothing more is charged.
Your games, your media and your results stay in your account. You can keep using them on the Free plan, or choose a plan again at any time.
5. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account in the app, through paddle.net, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next payment, and your plan stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling does not refund the current period by itself. If you are within 14 days of your last payment and want your money back, ask for a refund as well (section 2).
A 7-day pass never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
6. After 14 days
Payments more than 14 days old are not normally refunded. If something has gone wrong, for example you were charged twice or for a plan you did not choose, write to us and we will put it right.
7. Your legal rights
If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the law where you live, such as the 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase in the European Union and the United Kingdom. This policy gives you at least as much, and it adds to those rights; it never takes them away.
8. Tax refunds for businesses
If you bought for a business that is registered for VAT or sales tax and you were charged tax, Paddle can refund the tax once you give it your business’s tax number. Contact Paddle through paddle.net within 60 days of the payment.
9. Before you dispute a charge
AmoQuiz payments appear on your statement as PADDLE.NET. If you don’t recognise a charge, or want your money back, please write to us or to Paddle first: a refund reaches you sooner than a dispute with your bank.
