AI quiz generator

Type a topic. AI writes the questions.

Say what the night is about, or attach your notes, and AI drafts the game round by round: multiple choice, typed answers, a Jeopardy-style board and more, every question with its answer. Read it through, keep what you like and play it on the big screen.

Every plan comes with AI questions each month, the free one included.

AmoQuiz’s AI writing a game about the 1980s, its questions arriving one by one, in front of a TV showing the game’s board: Toys, Video games, TV, Tech and Fashion.

Start from a topic or your own notes

Type what the game is about, from the 1980s to your company’s history, or attach a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file, and AI writes only from what it says. Pick the rounds yourself, or let AI plan them for the topic.

  • Any topic, or your own document
  • Easy, medium or hard questions
  • Your rounds, or the ones AI picks
The AI dialog with the topic “The 1980s: films, music, toys and games” and three rounds planned: multiple choice, typed answers and a Grid.

Read it through before it’s yours

Questions arrive as AI writes them, each with its answer, the options for multiple choice and the hints for a countdown. Untick what you don’t want, change anything in place, then add the rest to your game.

  • Edit questions, answers and options before they’re saved
  • Questions that give the answer away are rewritten
  • Regenerate the lot with one click
The draft of “Back to the 80s”, every question ticked: which 1985 film sends Marty McFly back to 1955, with four options and Back to the Future marked right.

AI checks the typed answers too

Switch it on for a game, and AI marks each team’s typed answer right or wrong once the answers are in, misspellings and all. It leaves what it isn’t sure of to you, and your mark always wins.

  • Misspellings and other wordings count as right
  • Answers it isn’t sure of wait for you
  • Checks don’t use up your AI questions
The host’s screen for “Who released the album Thriller in 1982?”: six teams’ answers marked by AI, “michael jakson” counted right, Prince and The Jackson 5 wrong, and MJ left to the host.

Which rounds can AI write?

Multiple choice, Type answer, Grid, Buzzer race, Numbers, Put in order, Top answers, Stakes and Countdown, and rounds that mix them. Bingo, Poll, Toss, Biathlon and Click on image you fill in yourself. AI writes words only: add your own pictures, songs and videos afterwards.

Can it write a game from my own notes?

Yes. Attach a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or text file of up to 20 MB, and AI writes its questions from what the file says. It reads the text, so a scanned PDF won’t work.

Can I turn an old quiz into a game?

Yes. Import it from PowerPoint or PDF, and AI rebuilds it as a game you can edit, pictures included. Each question it brings in counts towards your AI questions for the month.

Does AI get it right?

Mostly, but it can be wrong. Read the draft before you add it, and check any fact your game turns on. When it checks answers, anything it isn’t sure of is left to you.

Does answer checking work offline?

No. Answers are checked on the AmoQuiz server, so the game needs the internet for it. Offline, you mark typed answers yourself, and everything else works as usual.
